A major player in urban transformation, JCDecaux is harnessing open innovation to develop innovative solutions and make cities more pleasant, comfortable and sustainable. Drawing on this momentum and its local roots, JCDecaux is providing support to the Breton ecosystem in partnership with Le Poool. Dedicated to innovative startups and tech firms in the Ille-et-Vilaine department, Le Poool works to foster their emergence, help them to accelerate and contribute to their development.
In addition to JCDecaux’s support of various events organised by Le Poool, such as new tech trend events like  La Digital Tech Conference, the aim of the partnership is to propose new educational, artistic or urban experiences made in collaboration with startups and local businesses to benefit the public.
Valérie Panel, Director of Partnerships of Le Poool, explains: “We work to bring innovative businesses together at a local level to unlock all the potential synergies between startups, more mature companies, academia and research, and investors. The involvement of JCDecaux in this positive movement is a big plus for our communities given their significant support of urban transformation. We hope that this partnership will give rise in the coming months to useful and innovative solutions and products!”
Amaury Cardon, Regional Director, Bretagne-Pays de la Loire, JCDecaux, states: “I am delighted to partner with Le Poool,  adding to the support already provided by JCDecaux to La French Tech. As part of its open innovation strategy, it is vital for JCDecaux to encourage bold and enthusiastic entrepreneurs at a local level, optimise today’s urban services and imagine those of the future. We are convinced that collaborative efforts between large corporations and startups serve to accelerate innovative projects, of which there is certainly no shortage of in Ille-et-Vilaine!
