DeepHawk is re-inventing AI applied to visual quality control in manufacturing. DeepHawk
Cognitive Agent, its unique, proprietary and patented technology, brings speed and flexibility, enabling to go to production 1000x faster, to adjust to a new design almost immediately, and to deliver an exceptional accuracy (up to 99.8%). Deployed as an edge architecture, the solution can detect anomalies in less than 15ms, and does not send any critical data (such as product photos or information on volume and quality) on cloud-based outside servers.
As a frugal AI, DeepHawk brings major improvements in terms of reducing both the computation requirements, the time-to-deploy for the client and the carbon footprint of the solution.
Headquartered at the IMT Atlantique in Cesson-Sevigne (Rennes), DeepHawk is delivering paid pilots with industrial companies in France and Germany and will launch its commercial solution in March 2023.
We are looking for a passionate Backend Developer to join us on our amazing journey.
THE ROLE
You will work along a team of experienced scientists and entrepreneurs with an international mindset. We are backed by Inria, BPI France, IMT Atlantique, la French Tech and the region of Brittany. Currently at seed stage, we are conducting a 1.2M€ round of investments to take our solution to the next level.
As a backend engineer at Deephawk, you'll work on developing, designing and testing our core product software solution. In addition, you'll help improve the performance, reliability, and code quality of our backend systems as we grow our customer base and engineering team. This role involves working closely alongside a team of AI scientists and engineers across the technical stack.
Your responsibilities will be to
*Work with the CTO helping with the deployment of a novel AI technology in the industry
*Dive-in into AI and computer vision pipelines
*Accept designated, focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions and implement them.
*Document your work in an organized way to be shared with others

Profil recherché
Skills and Profile
You are a semi-senior/senior engineer with the following skills:
*5+ years of experience in programming (C++ and python)
*Experience with software patterns and architectures
*Linux environments development and administration
*Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker or Singularity
*Fluent in English (French desirable but not mandatory)
*Knowledge of computer vision, video processing and/or industrial applications is a plus
*Autonomy, organization and excellent communication skills
